4-H Grows Here

CHARACTER, CURIOSITY, FRIENDSHIP, LEADERSHIP, RESPONSIBILITY...they all GROW HERE!

Age For Membership

4-H membership is open to all youth who are 7 years of age and have not passed their 19th birthday by January 1 of the current year.

When to Join

Youth can join 4-H any time of the year. However, most 4-H'ers start in the fall to keep up on activities, project lessons, and make themselves eligible for several 4-H awards and activities that have deadline dates.

What does it cost to be a 4-H'er?

Kansas 4-H is currently charging a $15 fee per member per year, however the Geary County 4-H Foundation has agreed to pay this fee for Geary County 4-H members at this time. Local clubs may develop their own methods of raising money for worthwhile activities. The cost to the youth is determined by the projects he or she selects.
